Social Media Marketing Coordinator-P/T

Description:
|
P/T Specialist in social media; active participant in social media activities such as Twitter, blogging, and social sharing; must be articulate, write comfortably, and be cause driven. Comfortable developing web content and developing a social media marketing strategy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Community Management
2. Maintain and launch social media communities
3. Maintain and refresh all assets on all official social media pages and accounts, working closely with internal stakeholders
4. Moderate fan conversations on official social media pages and accounts
5. Identify and sunset/migrate unofficial accounts, where applicable
6. Grow community of fans across social networks, both new and emerging
7. Create regular reports on social media reach and engagement, sharing with internal stakeholders and using to refine strategy
6. Support Digital PR efforts.
7. Educate colleagues on established and new social platforms, strategies, etc.
8. Identify and share best practices with the marketing team, as they relate to The Associated Humane Societies and the broader social media landscape
9. Content creation - Write blog posts, articles, newsletters, communications materials, and deliver assets for social media channels.

Qualifications:
|
BA w/exceptional academic record; Google search history/online profile that does not raise red flags; Immersion in social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, blogs, etc.) and trends with an understanding of their design, functionality and uses; Fantastic writing skills, Strong project management and organizational skills; Experience: 1-2 years of experience, either through coursework, internships, or work experience, in social media and digital media planning, marketing, outreach or equivalent business experience
