Welcome to the kids' coloring section of our web site!
We need your help! In Fall 2007, we asked you to submit your artwork for the cover of our new, upcoming, 128 page coloring book. We received so many great responses and beautiful designs, we didn't know which to choose. We finally narrowed it down to the 6 designs and decided to let you make the final decision. So cast your vote by March 15th for your favorite cover.
We've started off with a cougar, added a rabbit, and now some bears! We will just keep adding new animals for you to color and learn about.
A mountain lion is also known as a puma or cougar. They are large cats that live in many different parts of the United States. They tend to be shy and are not often seen by people as they live in the mountains and woods. If you don't know what colors to color them, just look in the Wildlife Club where we have photos of several of our lovely resident cougars! Click here or on the little picture below and print it out.
We also have a Bunny Rabbit to color as well. Click here or on the bunny picture below to read about rabbits and print a rabbit coloring page. Have fun!
Would you like to learn about bears? Click here or on the picture of mama and her cubs to read about bears.
Below are two new animal pictures for you to color - a Tortoise and Parrot - both were drawn and sent to us by Mary Makucin of Marietta Georgia. Click here or on the picture of the Tortoise to print out his picture. Click here or on the picture of the Parrot to print out her picture.
And check back as we add more images to color!
