NEWARK: SERVICES
The Newark Shelter is the oldest and largest of the Society's four Shelters. It provides complete services for animals including:
- the surrender and adoption of cats, dogs and small animals
- animal control services for contracted municipalities, county parks, portions of major highways
- radio dispatched ambulances on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
- complete medical facility with licensed veterinarians to treat both shelter and privately owned animals
- executive offices (please see listing of services under Executive Offices)
- Spay/Neuter program
Shelter hours are: 12 noon - 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday
12 noon - 5 pm, Sat. and Sun.
