ADOPTIONS AND TURN-INS

Each of the Society's four shelters is open 7 days a week to handle both adoptions and turn-ins. Our facilities open at 12 noon and close at 5:30.  A wonderful selection of cats, dogs, kittens and puppies of all ages - purebreeds and mixed breeds - can be found at each shelter, awaiting his or her forever home. Adoptions are handled by an application and screening process to insure that each pet is matched to an appropriate and qualified adopter. Turn-ins are also accepted at all four facilities during business hours.  Turn-in fees are required from all individuals who wish to release an animal to cover a small amount of the care and feeding of the pet during its stay here. The amount requested may vary according to whether or not the Society has an arrangement with the indvidual's home town. For additional information, please visit our About Adoptions section.
