ANIMAL CARE CENTERS

Dogs, cats, kittens, puppies and small animals are accepted and adopted out seven days a week at our four shelters.   In addition to continued improvements to our Newark facility, the Society is now planning a state-of-the-art expansion to our Tinton Falls facility.  This will accommodate the increasing number of animals we care for in Monmouth County. Micro-chipping of all adopted animals, to aid in the return of lost pets, is now routinely done in Newark, Tinton Falls and Forked River.  Adoption rates continue to grow through our homeless pets presence in the HUMANE NEWS, cooperation with reliable rescue groups, Petfinder, and extensive advertising. Each shelter provides routine inoculations, de-worming, flea and tick control plus any other needed medical care to the animals that come through our doors, and is adopted out microchipped and with a Health Guarantee.
