Name:
Chief the White-Tailed Buck
Fish and Wildlife asked Popcorn Park for a helping hand; a man raised me from a fawn, but the idea of releasing me had to be canned. I couldn’t be wild -- I didn’t know how to be! So here I can roam, and am both safe and free. Chief was found as a fawn, and as with many of our other deer, was believed to be abandoned. The man raised Chief for nine months, but then didn't know what to do with him. Fish and Game contacted us to see if we had room, and of course we accepted him. A chicken, whom we've named Featherston, pops in quite often just to "hang out" with Chief. We think it would buck up his confidence to have some loving sponsors. Please support Chief today. |
