Name:
Bonnie the Black Bear
I came from Ohio where my care was regrettable; now that I'm here,I hope to be unforgettable.Climbing and wading are so new to me; I spent a lot of time in a small cage, you see. Life now has promise, my future is bright; I thank Popcorn Park for making things right. Bonnie is one of three American black bears rescued by Popcorn Park Zoo. She is four years old, and was owned by a careless breeder who raised them to be sold, but often had too many. The owner would walk Bonnie around on a leash at county fairs. Now Bonnie has a much more natural environment, and can climb trees and swim. Being a bit older than the other two, Bonnie is more mature, and a bit aloof. She plays with the two "kids", Ginger and Maryann, but also likes some alone time. Brand new on the Wildlife Club, lovely Bonnie would love some sponsors. |
