At one year old, I was only half my weight; that's not supposed to be a growing bear's fate. My owner didn't care, and we escaped and ran free; til the sheriff told someone to go and get me. Here I arrived with Bonnie and Ginger, my twin sis; whoever thought life could be as wonderful as this!!??
Maryann and Ginger are sisters, now two years old. Kept in shameful condiitons by a breeder in Ohio, they often escaped their flimsy caging and ran through the streets, causing much concern among the town's people. Since Maryann has arrived, along with Ginger and Bonnie, she has spent much time discovering a world she never knew existed. She loves to climb as high as she can, to swat an unsuspecting Ginger as she passes by below. Maryann swims and climbs over the waterfall and eats well. Finally! A life fit for a young bear!
