Name:
Sam the Patagonian Cavy
Sam the Patagonian Cavy was one of several exotics discovered at a home where the SPCA was removing dogs kept in horrible conditions in 2005. Jenny the Palm Civet and Cocoa the Coatimundi, also kept in cruel conditions, were rescued by Popcorn Park, but the owner had a permit for Sam the Cavy, and so he was allowed to keep her. Four years later the owner called for help - Sam was in a barren pen with no shade; flies had chewed away half her ears which were bleeding, and her bottom teeth were horribly overgrown. Since arriving at Popcorn Park, she has been treated, is healing well and is settling in nicely. But Sam could sure use some new friends after her ordeal. Could you help this sweet lady feel the love and be her sponsor?
