Sunshine was born in the summer of 2010, the first foal ever born at Popcorn Park, to a miniature horse, Emma, we had just taken in. Emma was rescued from a situation where she had been left to starve, and was still thin when she arrived here. No one suspected she could have possibly been pregnant until Sunshine appeared in Emma's stall one sunny morning. A gray and white paint, Sunshine is healthy and energetic, and very attached to her doting mother, Emma. She has survived the odds of her mother's starvation and repeated treatments for worms and greets every day with a sunny disposition.
