Name:
Princess
Princess was once a beloved pet of Doris Duke, who raised Princess and her sister Babe from youngsters. The pair had their own barn which was like a mansion, and they were taken on summer vacation with Mrs. Duke to her estate in Rhode Island. If the weather became inclement, Princess and Babe were put up in the solarium. After this devoted animal lover passed away, her camels were still kept on her estate. Babe passed away about four years ago, leaving just Princess. New managers of the estate no longer wanted to care for animals, and Princess' caretaker from the beginning was about to retire to CT. It looked like she had nowhere to go. We happily accepted her, and she's settled in beautifully. She is extremely gentle and friendly, and staff is sure to give her the daily package of graham crackers to which she is accustomed. We think Princess would love more friends - she's just that kind of gal. Can you befriend the lovely Princess? |
