I was a fighter, and no lightweight they say; yet I might have died in Lakewood that day.  Cockfighting's illegal and causes suffering untold; but now it's peaceful pecking in the barnyard and I'm as good as gold. Despite many efforts and laws to stop cockfighting, it is still a viable, if underground, business which causes horrific suffering to the birds who are gouged by the gaffs, (spurs),  tied onto their legs.  Sugar Ray was a lucky one we saved, and today he just enjoys being a regular guy - would you help support this reformed rooster?
