Abandoned on the Garden State, a traveling circus break-down was our fate. We were neither watered nor fed, but to better conditions were soon led. Popcorn Park has treated us like kings, fought for our custody so we'd never want a thing.
JR initially arrived with another macaque we named Sue Ellen, a striped hyena, a black bear and a tiger.  When the Florida trailer broke down, the animals were just abandoned. Popcorn Park went out and fed and watered them daily, then fought for their custody in court so they would have a good life at last. JR is the last of these animals - all have passed away of old age with us. He could use a little love - why not give him yours - be his sponsor!
