We have no way of knowing if little Spikette escaped or was simply turned loose, as some people are wont to do with unwanted pets of all kinds. (We also first thought Spikette was a Spike, but now we know that she's a lizard-ette!) All we knew was we got a call for a lizard in distress. This young lady has been handled and enjoys a cuddle.
