Olivia - Now Kiki - Ready to Go Home

Featured on the cover of the June 2012 issue of the HUMANE NEWS and in a previous post here online was a pit bull terrier pup found as a pathetic, half-starved stray we called Olivia. We knew that due to her condition, it would be an extended stay due to a severe case of mange.

It is 3 months later and she has transformed into a healthy, happy amiable lass. The medical staff calls her Kiki -- and that is the name she responds to. After all of the medication, dips, etc., her hair has grown in and she is a redhead! She was evaluated and found to be extremely easy to handle and walks well on a lead. She is happy-go-lucky and continues to be a little ball of happiness. She loves being given a toy selection and prefers a rawhide.

For more information on Kiki who is now ready for a lifetime commitment, contact us or call the Society at 973-824-7080 and refer to File 108278.

Thanks to the contributions made to the Society's Res-Q Fund, we are able to help with long-term medical care as well as emergency trauma and outside veterinary specialists.

Kiki is at the Society's Newark facility, 124 Evergreen Ave. in Newark, just off of Rt. 1 and 9, Route 22, the NJ Turnpike and convenient to the Garden State Parkway. The Society is open 7 days a week for your convenience. For additional help, just e-mail us.
