This handsome male pit bull terrier was found as a stray in late July. Not only is he completely blind, he was suffering from infected ears, nasal discharge and not feeling well. Our veterinary staff has taken care of all of his medical issues and now Chuck needs "a new leash on life". In trying to take Chuck's picture, all he wanted to do was stay close to our staffer.
Chuck is at the Associated Humane Societies Tinton Falls animal shelter. A donation to our Res-Q Fund would help the many needy orphans that come through our doors in need of medical attention.
If you would like to visit Chuck - please refer to File 70840-M - or the hundreds of dogs and cats awaiting adoption, the Society is open 7 days a week for your convenience - from noon until 5 pm. The Society is only minutes from the Rt. 33-34 Circle and off of 100B (N) and 102 (S) on the Garden State Parkway. Or contact us for additional information by e-mail or phone at (732) 922-0100.
