We recently received notice from our supplier for K-9 Vests that there would be a dramatic increase in the price of K-9 vests due to the demand of body armor materials for our men and women fighting in Iraq. This has truly left our Vested Interest Fund in dire need of support.

This increase took place on August 15th.

The K-9 Level 2 Ballistic Vest increased to $625.00 plus $12.00 for shipping and handling (price until August 15th - $510.00 plus S & H)

The K-9 Level 3 Ballistic/Stab Vest increased to $825.00 plus $12.00 shipping and handling (price until August 15th - $710.00 plus S & H)

Even with these increases, International Armor remains lower than most vest distributors and continues to supply a quality product. Donations for Vested Interest have been low and the demand is increasing. We have many dogs who have graduated or are going through the training academy at this time. Our dream of having a vest waiting for all graduates is being put on hold as we struggle to raise funds. Vested Interest has been going strong for six years and we have had so much support from school groups, civic organizations and private citizens. We are hoping that we can continue, and we ask for any help you can provide so that we can protect these wonderful dogs.
