Van Gogh - Update Feb.28

Vinnie had another nice day today, filled with lots of friends stopping by to say hello and plenty of attention. We get the feeling that our Vinnie boy is getting just a bit spoiled .... he literally has at least 10 to 15 staff members that come by every morning to say hello and wish him a good day. Throughout the day, he lounges on a huge orthopedic bed for naptime, and splits his time between our Popcorn Park Directors office, our kitchen, and "his room", greeting everyone and getting lots of love. We know he's getting a little spoiled BUT . he deserves it, doesn't he?! Vinnie has been through so much in his short time on this earth, probably even more than most of us can fathom, yet he still loves life and everyone in it!

Vinnie was sporting some St. Patrick's Day attire today, in hopes that he could rush along the holiday because he's been told that not long after St. Patty's Day, spring will be here! Vinnie is looking forward to the spring, as we all are. He was unable to go for his stroller rides for the last couple of days due to the drop in temperatures and some snow today, so he's hoping that it will warm up in the next day or two so he can take a ride around and check things out.

Vinnie's condition continues to improve more and more every day but please understand, he has a ways to go yet. He is still on a several antibiotics for infection, pain meds, and supplements for his skin. He is feeling good and looking better every day! Thank you as always, for your support of our little guy. If you have missed any of his updates or his original story, links are available to the right or you can even do a search for Van Gogh in our Search box or just click on News. Vinnie's easy to find! Your continued support is greatly appreciated, and if you're inspired, please help Vinnie and our many other needy animals and make a contribution to our Res-Q Fund.

Thanks, and stay tuned for more on the invincible Vinnie!
