Van Gogh - Upate March 15 - Spa Day!

Guess who made his first trip out to the old grooming van for his first spa day that's right! Vinnie got himself all spiffy today! He's looking good and smelling even better! We think this may have been Vinnie's first bath ever, which would be about right, considering where he came from and the awful life he must have led before. But regardless of his past, Vinnie absolutely loves being pampered now! He was a little confused at first as to what was going on.

He snorted his way around the grooming van, checking out the smells of the many that had been there before him, but that tail of his was swishing all the while. Of course Vinnie trusts us implicitly now, so he knows we would never let any harm come to him again. Vinnie allowed himself to be plopped into the tub and get a thorough scrubbing, and although he didn't know what the heck the hair dryer was, he was even fine with that. Really, nothing upsets our little Vinnie!

Vinnie is literally like a whole new pup now and in a few days, he'll be having the last of his injuries fixed, then he'll be reborn. He would like to ask that you keep him in your thoughts and prayers, since these next two surgeries will be a bit difficult on him, but they are completely necessary for his well being and to ensure that he will live a normal, healthy life going forward. Vinnie is also very grateful to all of you for supporting him and so many other animals like him that need specialized medical care. Our Res-Q Fund has helped bring Vinnie back to life and will continue to help him and all the others that need us. Please make a contribution to our fund and help us continue to help those in need.

We will update again soon on the clean and spiffy Vinnie. Thanks again for your thoughts and concern for our little boy!
