Van Gogh - Update - April 19

Vinnie Van Gogh finds himself being chauffeured again and back in his stroller but don't worry, it's only temporary. Those long, big boy walks will have to wait a while for now. Since Vinnie's hip surgery a few days ago, our little guy has to take short walks only for a while, and we are all too happy to get out the old Vinnie-mobile and stroll him around for his fresh-air breaks.

Vinnie is doing very well since his hip surgery. He is feeling good and his pain meds are keeping any discomfort that he may have to a minimum. Vinnie is also doing his exercises every day and is already getting stronger. We can't believe it, but he is putting weight on the leg already and we are having to remind him constantly to slow down. We truly feel that Vinnie just doesn't know that anything was ever wrong with him .. at least if he does, he sure doesn't complain about it!

Vinnie had another sleepover at one of his "mom's" houses so he could get some round the clock care right after his surgery. He was very happy to have some feline friends keep him company for a while and also made some new pooch pals. Vinnie continues to love everyone he meets and naturally, everyone who meets Vinnie just adores him too.

We got a little silly with Vinnie and got him in the Easter spirit with some bunny ears but as you'll see in the video, Vinnie had enough of the ears after a while so when he chomped down on one, we used it to power his stroller ride. It's just the usual Vinnie-antics!

Thank you all for following our little Vinnie on his journey and stay tuned for more from the Invincible Vinnie!
