Van Gogh- Update - June 13

Another hot and humid day today at Popcorn Park so of course, Vinnie was undecided about whether to run around like a loon in our exercise yard, or just chill out and wait to be brought back into the air conditioning. So he did a little bit of both! He also picked up some new accessories today to enhance his good looks, but once the heat got to us, we kicked the idea of Vinnie wearing a shirt to the curb.

Vinnie continues to love his life and live it to the fullest. He's getting stronger and stronger every day and today, you'll see him actually leap from the top step of our bench, which is the tallest height yet that he has jumped from, and you'll also see him jump up to grab something, just like any normal dog with no problems! We're just so proud of Vinnie. He has come so far and watching him run, jump and play is still amazing to all of us that have watched him struggle to hold his head up just a few short months ago.

We would like to thank all of you again for helping us to get Vinnie to the point that he is at today. Without your generous donations to our Res-Q Fund, we don't know how we would have provided the very extensive medical care that Vinnie needed. He is not quite done with his need for medical care and has a few things coming up in the future, but he is sure on his way to a long and healthy life! If you would like to make a difference, please contribute to our Res-Q Fund to help Vinnie and so many others like him that we help every day.

Vinnie is also continuing with his training and is learning so much. As you can see, we still allow him plenty of time to goof-off, but he is also spending plenty of time learning to behave like a real gentleman. Stay tuned for more from Vinnie in training-mode and again, thank you for following the Invincible Vinnie along on his journey!
