Grey around the muzzle, a little cloudy in the eyes, but deeply grateful in his heart, Joey sends out love, hope and happiness to everyone. Once the victim of a Newark backyard breeder, Joey was one of several `dumps' that this individual left at our Newark facility. He was terribly frightened, as were they all. But when we featured his photo on the cover of the Humane News in 1994, Joey's luck ... and life ... changed forever.
Thanks to Dr. Carol O'Reilly, Joey has been doted upon and spoiled - everything he needed. He's had lots of doggy company over the years, and his only wish for everyone is that they are as blessed as he has been in the New Year and always.
Pictured is Joey decorated for Christmas and with his best buddies -- the `kids' -- all loved byCarol.
Happy New Year!
