We have great news! Shadow, the Share-A-Pet has been adopted! We are always pleased when any of our animals has the chance to experience the love and warmth of a home of their own, but we're especially thrilled when it is an animal that has had such a horrific start to her life. Despite the physical and emotional scars she suffered, Shadow developed into a sweet, affectionate and wonderful dog that anyone would love to have.

Shadow was very lucky to have been adopted by the Bernat family of Brick NJ. Pictured here are dad, Alan, daughter, Marissa, and their seven year old dog and Shadow's new best friend, Polaris. (Mom, Heidi; isn't in the photo.)  The family came to the Animal Haven Farm frequently to visit Shadow to get to know her as well as helping her feel comfortable with them. It didn't take long before they fell in love with her, and Shadow loved them in return.

From a life which began in painful cruelty, Shadow will now know all the love a family can give.
