What great news for Festus! From an injured puppy in an abandoned lot through surgery to correct his deformity and now at last to a loving home.
Festus has been adopted to Domenick Scudera of Collegevilla, PA. His new life will include two other dogs, Mabel Rose and Fifi .. and a feline named Cleo. He will have a huge backyard to play in and an owner who teaches at a college directly across the street from home so he won't be alone much at all. Life is just beginning for this lucky pup.
In addition,
Mr. Scudera has a vision that one day soon, Festus will become a therapy dog helping children and adults deal with their own disabilities. And with such an upbeat visitor, who wouldn’t be inspired to move past their own difficulties?! We hope to hear a happy update on Festus’ progress in the future!
