The passages of one's life are varied and when animals are involved - they are immediately affected.

Births, deaths, marriages, divorce, illnesses, job loss, moving, eviction, -- and animals are the silent witnesses that must endure these changes. The Society takes such orphans in and attempts to repair their broken hearts.

Emily and Jake are two 4 year old littermates that are well-behaved and raised with toddlers. A divorce has left them alone and homeless. They are neutered and ready to find a new family that will accept them both.  Jake (File# 13489) and Emily (File# 13488) await at out Forked River shelter.
