This gorgeous young female German Shepherd was discarded by her owner through no fault of her own. "Blackie" had been allowed to roam free and was hit by a car. She suffered a broken leg and since he had no funds, he opted to give her up and to be euthanized. Especially considering the pup was not even a year old, we advised that we would take care of her injuries and find a new, responsible owner who would give her a lifetime commitment.
We have changed her name to "Noel". She is a lovable, well-mannered Shepherd who is hoping for a holiday filled with the gift of life. File 54463-F (Newark).

The Society has a Res-Q Fund to help offset the tremendous expense of taking in sick and injured animals and getting them on a new road to happiness.
