PET OWNERS LEARN HOW TO BETTER UNDERSTAND THEIR ANIMALS: ASSOCIATED HUMANE SOCIETIES/POPCORN PARK TO HOST COMMUNICATION WORKSHOP
(Newark, NJ) -- Dogs are known as “man’s best friend.” While many pet owners know that to be the truth, they often feel that there may be more to the animal-human bond than meets the eye. The Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park and Animal Wellness Consultants are hosting a two-day Animal Communication workshop with nationally renowned animal communicator Colleen Nicholson on April 21 and 22 from 9:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The workshop, to be held at Our Daily Soup and the Popcorn Park Zoo, both in Forked River, is designed to bring humans closer into the minds and thoughts of the animals they love.
Roseann Trezza, Executive Director of the Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park, says, “This is the second year we are having this workshop because it was such a success last year. It interests pet owners who want to know their pets better, but it also serves veterinarians, vet technicians, groomers, animal rescue workers and shelter employees who just want a greater understanding of all creatures great and small.”
Each of the two day-long sessions will include discussions, exercises and interactive workshops designed to open the telepathic awareness and abilities among participants. Attendees will learn communication techniques first-hand with animals at Popcorn Park.
Pre-registration runs until April 7, 2007. The cost of the program is $150 per day or $275 for both days. After April 8th, the cost is $175 for each day. To register, or for more information, call 315-652-4964 or email ZooWorkshop@holisticanimal.com .
