The Share-A-Pet Program has been widely received by animal lovers – both young and old. Dogs and cats have the opportunity to live out their lives on the Animal Haven Farm and Kitty City at our Forked River facilities. More importantly, they have gone through sad or traumatic times and have been successfully transformed into healthy, loving companions.

We invite sponsors to visit their pet, bring treats, take them for walks … and even adopt them. What a great gift for a youngster who cannot have a pet at home! A loving morale booster for the senior citizens who can visit their pet, give them hugs, kisses and pet them …. and lower their blood pressure at the same time! And how wonderful for these dogs and cats who thrive on human attention, having often known so little.

Grant C. LeRoy, (above with Rex), of Menlo Park, California was given a one year’s sponsorship for Rex the Shepherd thanks to the thoughtfulness of an aunt from Ocean Grove, NJ. Grant will receive updates three times a year, including a holiday card, and a color photo from Rex.
