The Society has been in the forefront of raising funds and distributing bullet/stab-proof K-9 vests to law enforcement K-9s throughout the country through our Vested Interest Fund. The inspiration for our establishing this fund was Solo, a Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office member, who died in the line of duty. He had a remarkable record of 19 apprehensions and located 11 missing persons – an extraordinary legacy at 3 years of age.

The prices for the vests have soared to $825.00 each, and all donations that are received for that fund are not used for anything other than that purpose. If you would like to help protect a working K-9 in New Jersey or another state, please make a donation to the Vested Interest Fund. If you would like to purchase a vest in honor or in memory of someone, we will be happy to notify the parties involved.

Is this your first time hearing about this fund? Please read more about the Vested Interest Fund, and then help support a working K-9 through contributing to the purchase of a vest. Thank you.
