Your Trash May Be Treasure for Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park
ITS SPRING CLEANING TIME! But, before you toss out all those unwanted items from your attic, basement or garage, you might have items that will help the animals being cared for through Associated Humane Societies and Popcorn Park Zoo.
Our supporters are wonderful with their monetary donations, but what many people dont realize is they can donate items that we will either recycle for additional funds, or actually use at our three Animal Care Centers, said Roseann Trezza, Executive Director Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park.
Items can be dropped off at any of the three shelters in Forked River, Tinton Falls or Newark, anytime during business hours.
Some unlikely items can actually help AHS raise additional funds. These include: copper, brass, stainless steel and aluminum.
