Ebenezer - Blind, Matted, Left in A Box on the Street

This elderly gent was unceremoniously abandoned in a box in Newark in early November. The aging fella was terribly neglected, his eyes were stuck shut and he was quite ill. As soon as he arrived, he was given soothing care for his eyes -- only to find out he is blind. He was bathed, groomed and has been treated for a stubborn upper respiratory infection.

We call this old guy Ebenezer and he needs to have the remainder of his sunset years with better treatment than he was forced to endure in the past. Thanks to the Society's Res-Q Fund, donations in this program help us to help Society orphans that have medical conditions that need extensive time, veterinary care and rest to help in their recuperation. Please donate today and help animals in need like Ebenezer.

Ebenezer is at the Society's Newark Medical Dept. where he is hoping that this Christmas will be the best holiday for him. For more information on Ebenezer, contact us, call 973-824-7080 or visit the Society's Newark facility at 124 Evergreen Ave., just off of Rt. 1 and 9, near the Newark International Airport.
