When his owner decided to leave the area, she brought her 5 year old dog Buddy to her grandparents. Unfortunately Buddy's owner hasn't returned and the family called the Associated Humane Societies' Tinton Falls branch to take in the neutered gent. Upon arrival with their unwanted dog, our staff saw the injury/deformity to the front leg. Although the family said it was an accident, it had been left like that and/or neglected for quite some time.

After arrival, Buddy was sent to our Popcorn Park Animal Clinic for an evaluation where it was determined that it was not necessary to amputate the leg. The Jack Russell Terrier mix is now back at our Tinton Falls facility in the hope that Santa has great things planned for this fella. He is good with children, housebroken and has a great personality.
