In just one day, the Associated Humane Societies' doors were opened to many little lapdogs in search of love. If you enjoy having the sound of tiny footsteps around the house, it couldn't be a better time than now to find tiny pooches who hold a ton of love and devotion in their hearts.
Luna, above, is a 3 year old spayed Yorkshire Terrier and Oso is a 5 year old male Yorkie -- both given up when their owner developed allergies. They were just given a lovely spa day where they were bathed and brushed. They are all ready for a lifetime of love. File 114062 and File 114063.
Mack is a 2 year old Rat Terrier whose owner surrendered the neutered gent as the dog is home alone "too long". He felt it was not fair to the dog .... but being in a cage and homeless is not fair either. The decision was unfair to a dog who had no behavioral issues and yet, this holiday is a sad one for such a sweetheart. File 114060.
For more information on these dogs, e-mail the Society about Luna and Oso or Mack or call 973-824-7080. The Society is located at 124 Evergreen Ave. in Newark, just off of Rt. 1 and 9, near the NJ Turnpike and the Newark International Airport. The Society is open 7 days a week -- closed on Christmas.
