Sassy was owned by an Essex County resident who allowed her to have puppies. When she no longer wanted Sassy, she gave her and her daughter, Miracle, to a relative who had several children including two 4 year olds. The family wanted to bring in Sassy and keep 5 month old Miracle with them. But too much stress, activity, unnecessary roughness and mishandling were major concerns and they finally brought in Miracle.
Sassy is about 2 years old and her pup, Miracle, (at left), is about 5-6 months old. This pair is so bonded with each other that we can't bear to separate them, so they will be looking for a home together. They were brought to our Forked River facility for a more tranquil setting and to be spayed and repair umbilical hernias they both had.
They are in the Waiting Room and if someone passes by, they stand on their hind legs and beg to be picked up.They are extremely affectionate and well behaved too. Both get along great with other dogs and cats, too, and would make a wonderful addition to any family that will promise to love and care for them forever. Please consider opening your heart and home to our precious little pair, and make their dreams come true!
