Webster Update! Progress on Burned Puppy

A helpless 4 week old burned pup abandoned in a box was rescued by the Society's Animal Control Officer. The box was found on 7th and Webster Streets in Newark. The pup stayed at the Animal Emergency in Fairfield and was returned to the Society for further care and treatment.

It has been through your generosity in donating to the Res-Q Fund that helps Webster in his recovery process.

As you can see by the pictures, his recovery is fantastic!

Webster spends his day at our executive offices where he is terribly spoiled by staff members. He prefers three hot cooked meals versus canned or dry dog food and we happily oblige. He even manages to con forbidden treats from well meaning staff. Webster receives treatments twice daily by our medical staff and we are happy to report that he is now off all antibiotics and his scar is healing beautifully. He's walking so much better and has turned into one happy puppy. At night, Webster has a sleep over with our vet tech where he enjoys the company of other animals. He is a sweet baby who loves everything and everyone. Webster has come out of the darkness and we will make sure he has a bright future.

Webster is at the Society's Newark facility, 124 Evergreen Ave., just off of Rt. 1 and 9, 3 blocks before the Elizabeth line. For more information, call the Society at 973-814-7080 or e-mail us. Please refer to File 116236-M.

See photos of Webster when we rescued him.
