Chic's Pups Given Away Too Young - Only Chiclet Getting Proper Care

In addition to Chic, the young female, they also brought Monster, a 10 month old male. Because of the condition of the female, it is believed that the pups were not weaned but abruptly taken away. It was discovered that the owner had been arrested but before he was incarcerated, he tried to give away about 6 or 7 pups -- much too early for them to be removed from their mother. One pup was still at the house but the girlfriend worked and was not able to adequately care for the one remaining pup. A Society Animal Control Officer brought 1 month old Chiclet back to the Tinton Falls facility to be reunited with her mom.

Attempts have been unsuccessful in attempting to find the location of the pups that were handed out by the owner.

Chic, Chiclet and Monster Daddy are now available for adoption. For more information on any or all of them, call the Society at 732-922-0100 or e-mail us. Please stop in and see this family or the huge number of unwanted dogs and cats awaiting a lifetime of love.

All animals adopted from the Society are furnished with all necessary inoculations, de-worming, spay/neuter, collar, tag and microchip. The Society is open 7 days a week for your convenience. The shelter is located at 2960 Shafto Road in Tinton Falls, not far from the Rt. 33-34 Circle.

Animal rescue is the highest priority in our efforts to help the helpless. Please send a donation today so that we may continue to be ever vigilant and act when needed to do so.
