When most of the world was making plans for their New Year's Eve, this lost soul was found by the Family Dollar Store in Forked River. She was scrounging around the dumpster, looking for a few scraps to eat. A concerned citizen spotted her and called Popcorn Park, who dispatched an ambulance to the scene.

The sweet but frightened Chihuahua was brought in to the shelter, given food, warmth and a comfy spot to settle in. By the next day, she had given birth to 4 pups. Mom and babies are doing well and are ready to find loving, forever homes. File L-17386-F. (Forked River)
