Animal lovers are invited to rock out and support Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park when Elliott Murphy and Jann Klose perform two special concerts to benefit the animals..
Singer/songwriter Elliott Murphy and multi-cultural rocker Jann Close will bring their “Shelters Rock” concerts to The Wonder Bar, 1213 Ocean Avenue, Asbury Park on April 24, and to Maxwells, 1039 Washington Ave., Hoboken, at 7 p.m. on April 25. Both events are cosponsored by Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park.
Both animal lovers, themselves, Murphy and Klose will use these venues to urge people to adopt a shelter pet and encourage everyone to have their pets spayed or neutered. And to keep the theme fresh in the minds of concert-goers, representatives from AHS will have on display a digital photo frame of all its adoptable animals. The Societies will also staff a table with informational brochures and giveaways.
“What better way to spread the message of animals in need than through the international language of music? We are happy to be cosponsoring Elliott and Jan’s concerts as they tour through New Jersey,” said Roseann Trezza, Associated Humane Societies Executive Director. For tickets, log on to the Wonder Bar’s website or Maxwell’s.
