This young female Cocker Spaniel was either lost, strayed, stolen or abandoned. Confused and traumatized, she tried to seek attention and love -- but was an annoyance and bothersome to someone who either threw hot water or a caustic material on her back.

As soon as she arrived at out Newark Medical Depsrtment, she was given immediate veterinary care. From the very onset of her arrival, it was obvious she held no bitterness to the people around her. We call her "Sparkle" - show her some attention and her personality comes alive! The young Cocker Spaniel would make a great family pet and will be spayed prior to adoption.
Thanks to the generosity of Society supporters, we have been able to heal her wounds. It has taken well over a month to restore her back to health. Contributions are still needed in our Res-Q Fund to help those that are in need. . Please make a donation to our ResQ Fund today!
If you are interested in adopting Sparkle into a safe, loving home, please contact us! File N-79474-F (Newark).
