Furballs Grooming Benefits AHS Animals!

Mitch and Katie Horowitz, owners of Furballs Pet Grooming, are once again pulling out the stops to raise funds and goods for Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park.

For the month of November and into December, Furballs will collect much needed pet supplies, food and other items for AHS Animal Care Center in Lacey Township. Mitch and Katie will also donate half of the fees they take in for all their pet tooth brushing services.

This is the third time Furballs has helped support AHS through a donation drive. In the past, Mitch and Katie have presented the Societies with truckloads of dog and cat food, kitten formula, leashes, collars, shampoo, dog and cat beds, kitty litter, litter boxes, fresh fruits and vegetables, rabbit and guinea pig food, cleaning supplies and more. They hope to do the same again this year.

“Mitch and Katie Horowitz are our true guardian angels – they want to help us in any way they can,” said Roseann Trezza, Executive Director, Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park. “We are extremely grateful for their continued support.” Anyone is invited to stop by Furballs at 340 Route 9 South, here, and make a donation.

If you have a pet that needs bathing, grooming or the whole spa treatment, from the First Place winners of the Gannett Publications Readers Choice Award for Best Pet Groomer in Ocean County, take a look at the services listed on their web site. For directions or more information, call Furballs at 732-269-8220 or visit Furballs' web site.
