When the Society responded to complaints regarding conditions at a Hazlet, NJ residence, our Tinton Falls Manager, Bruce Sanchez, visited the premises and discovered that the home was a breeding place for Coonhounds. Although the town has a pet limit ordinance of 4 dogs, there were many more adults and puppies living in overcrowded, cluttered, filthy conditions. The animals clearly needed to be removed.
At left is Hasley.
The Society took these 3 needy dogs who are waiting for "a new leash on life". Unfortunately, it is our understanding that there are many dogs and pups in the basement and on the second floor. The matter has been referred to the local Monmouth County SPCA for further investigation and action.
In the meantime, 3 year old Taffy and Daminika and 1 year old Hasley are all waiting for a lifetime of love. Their file numbers are: TF-59890-M, File TF-59892-M and File TF-59894-F. Please feel free to visit them at our Tinton Falls facility at 2960 Shafto Road in Tinton Falls, or call us at 732-922-0100.
This is Daminika
This rescue is just one of the many that we do on a daily basis. As you read this, many more animals are in desperate need of help. It is only through your generosity that we can continue to keep our doors open for them. The Society is in urgent need of donations to continue helping animals who count on us to give them hope and homes. Can we count on you? Please donate today!
And this is Taffy.
