Our recent issue of ZoonooZ had a special feature on the many birds at Popcorn Park that tend to live in flocks. We have many more photos of so many of our birds that live in flocks that just won't fit into a 4-page publication, and thought you might enjoy seeing a few of them.
In addition to these flocking birds, some of the others that flock are our macaws, pigeons and ducks. Come on down to visit, and you'll see ... there's more to these gregarious groups than a gaggle of geese! Meanwhile, take a look at some more of our flocks!

Our aviary houses unwanted or handicapped small birds - mostly cockatiels, parakeets.

Frankie, one of our turkeys, is a very friendly fellow, and more than happy to hang out with chickens, ducks and peacocks!

Some of our peacocks and peahens taking advantage of the shoveled paths in this last winter's snowfall.

Our rheas, rescued from being on someone's dinner plate, have their own flock, and due to their size, their own area.

Geese of all kinds make Popcorn Park their home, and love to flock together. The two white geese in the foreground are Heckel and Jeckel and would love some sponsors on the Wildlife Club.
Check out our ZoonooZ and the many other wonderful benefits of joining the Zoological Society. Or consider sponsoring a bird in the Wildlife Club. Of all the various types of animals at Popcorn Park, the birds are most in need of sponsors, and your support is always much appreciated.
