NORTH PLAINFIELD, NJ – Associated Humane Societies, in partnership with Best Friends Pet Care of North Plainfield will hold its “Hope for Home Adopt-a-Thon,” at Best Friends Pet Care, 825 Route 22 West, from noon to 4 p.m. on Saturday, October 9.

This is the second time this year that Best Friends and Associated Humane Societies have joined together for an event to actively find homes for the hundreds of orphaned dogs and puppies under the Society’s care.
“We are grateful for the folks at Best Friends Pet Care and all of their efforts to help us find forever families for these animals. What a great way to meet your own future best friend,” said Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park Executive Director Roseann Trezza. “Although, potential adopters will still have to go through our standard application process, they will get to socialize and learn about the animals outside of our usual shelter setting.”
The fee to adopt any dog the day of the event is discounted to $125 which includes spay or neuter, rabies vaccination, basic immunizations, and micro-chipping, along with free goody bags from Best Friends. For more information please contact (908) 822-9200 |
