This gentle, well-groomed terrier type came in as a stray. He has rear leg paralysis and the Society's Medical Dept. has taken x-rays. The problem needs to be studied further, and all information is being sent for diagnostic conclusions. We are hoping to improve "Autumn's" physical ailments and his future in a forever home. The Society set up a Res-Q Fund to help many of the sick, injured and handicapped animals that come through our doors. In many cases, these animals can be helped by the Society's veterinarians but many more need specialists such as orthopedic surgery, eye surgery and more.
Our Res-Q Fund has been in constant use for most of the year 2010 and we are in urgent need to recoup much of the expenses we have dispensed. Max the Great Dane, whose story was recently featured is another dog who just incurred additional funding from the ResQ Fund. (Read Max's update.)
Our helping these dogs and the many others you read about on our web site depend upon our very much depleted Res-Q Fund. Please help our work continue and donate to our Res-Q Fund!
