A young female pit bull was rescued by a Newark Policeman who found the pup wandering aimlessly in obvious need of rescue. She had been suffering for quite some time with a miserably uncomfortable and itchy condition. An irresponsible, uncaring owner allowed her to suffer this painful condition as she was covered with bloody sores.
We call her Bethany and she is being treated for the skin condition as well as with soothing medication to alleviate the irritating problem so that she will soon be well on her way to finding a lifetime commitment with the right family. The remedy is a time-consuming process, and she will be convalescing at our Newark Medical Dept.

It is only through your generosity to the Res-Q Fund that the Society can continue to help the many, needy sick and injured animals that come through our doors. Bethany will be available for adoption once her treatment is over. If you would like to meet Bethany, she is at the Newark facility at 124 Evergreen Ave. in Newark, and her File number is 97705. For more information or if you think you might be the home for Bethany, please contact us .
