Meet Cookie - a sad-faced terrier that came in as a stray from Waretown in 2006. She waited for two years and finally found what we thought would be her forever home in April 2008. Sadly, the disasterous economic problems that we have been facing have affected millions of people; their homes, their jobs ..... and their pets.
When Cookie's owner fell on hard times, the Ocean County resident was evicted from her home and she had no alternative but to have a friend bring Cookie to the Society.
Estimated to be about 6 years old, Cookie still has many, many years left to give love and companionship to a family. If you cannot adopt Cookie, please consider making a donation for her care. She waited two years .... finally found someone ... and lost her home again. Your donations continue to help us keep orphans until a lifetime home can be found. File L-19328-SF (Forked River).
