Liberty Tax Service Holds
Collection Event for AHS/Popcorn Park
TOMS RIVER - Liberty Tax Service hosts a daylong collection drive event, complete with free food and children’s entertainment, to benefit Associated Humane Societies/Popcorn Park from 11 to 3 p.m., Saturday, April 2, at its office at 100 Route 37.
The folks at Liberty will collect dog food, cat food, cleaning supplies and cash donations during the event. For every cash or non-cash donation worth at least $50, Liberty will waive tax preparation fees and prepare taxes for free.
“We just love Associated Humane Societies and Popcorn Park. What they do for the community and for all of Ocean County is wonderful. We want to help the folks at AHS find good homes for the animals,” said Robin Tice, a Liberty Manager.
“Once again, our sincere thanks go out to the people at the Liberty Tax Service office in Toms River who continue to help support our efforts, particularly now, during their busiest work season,” said John Bergmann, AHS/Popcorn Park General Manager. “We are always grateful to organizations that take time out of their work schedules to help our efforts, and the folks at Liberty are always there.”
