Patrick had a day filled with visitors from the Star Ledger, Karla Roth of News12New Jersey, staffers from Associated Humane Societies, and a stream of employees who visited him at the administrative offices at Garden State Veterinary Specialists.
A huge batch of goodies has been mailed to Patrick for his good wishes and recovery. There are stuffed animals, beds, toys, balls, bowls, pet food and more. They have arrived from NJ, CT, UT, MD, TN, CA, and more! E-mails and donations have arrived from many countries as well.

According to GSVS, Patrick is now receiving enough food for a dog of 50 pounds! That is making Patrick ecstatic! He's gained a little bit more weight and it is hoped that Patrick will be ready for a more serious look at whatever foreign object he has swallowed.
Your kind donations to our ResQ Fund are what assure Patrick the very best of continued care. Please donate today!

Ali Manson with first grade teacher, Ms. Purcell
When seven year old, Ali Manson heard his mom, Tina, who is our medical secretary, speak about Patrick, he immediately took action. He explained Patrick’s story and health concerns to his teacher, Ms. Purcell and his first grade class at the Avenel Street School, Avenel, NJ. They immediately began a collection and Ali presented the Society with an envelope containing $73.00 in donations. We think Ali is a pretty special kid to realize Patrick’s plight and do something about it! Patrick has touched people of all ages!
