Bless Required Surgery - Outgrown Harness Cut Her Deeply

It was 1:00 in the morning when the Society's Animal Control Officer was called out to rescue a young pup found wandering that was brought to the Police Station.

She had once been someone's happy, healthy, hopeful pup -- but now she was homeless. She was wearing a halter harness that she had outgrown and now became a life-threatening danger to her. It had cut deeply into the midriff section and she required surgery.

Thanks to the Society's Res-Q Fund, the Society's veterinarians are taking care of the little lass we now call "Bless". She is at the Society's Tinton Falls facility waiting for "a new leash (or harness) on life". We know that if you take her into your heart and your home, she will "bless" you .... as much as we do. For more information, call the Society at 732-922-0100 or e-mail us. Please donate to our Res-Q Fund so we can "bless" more animals in need with the medical care they need!

You can check out more pets for adoption and "like" us at our Facebook pages: Newark Associated Humane, Friends of the Associated Humane Society-Tinton Falls, NJ and Associated Humane Popcorn Park Shelter.
