Proceeds benefit animal adoption at the Popcorn Park Zoo Shelter

Admission by wrist band .... $20.00 Includes one day admission to the Zoo, box of popcorn, live entertainment all day

Admission for children 2-10 is $10.00. Children under 2 are free.

VIP admission -- $30.00 includes the above mentioned amenities, 2 day zoo admission, seating for the performances, and waitress service for food and beverages.

The goal of the Rock to Adopt event is to raise revenues to assist in the adoption of 25 pets. All additional proceeds will benefit the pets in the shelter. The event is an avenue to raise the community’s awareness of the Popcorn Park Zoo Shelter and it’s passion to place domestic animals in homes as pets.

It is our mission that Rock to Adopt becomes an annual event, each year growing on the success of the prior years.

Rock to Adopt will be billed as a family event featuring the music of local musicians. The vision is that there will be fun activities such as face painting, temporary tattoos, and balloon designs. For adults there will be chair massages and fortune telling sessions available. We are hoping to have a professional football player sign autographs. Food and beverage vendors will also be on hand.

It is our vision that the rescue ribbon be used at restaurants and with sponsors for donations of $1.00 to generate additional donations for the cause.

The Local Shack is presently involved in other charity events this year such as Jamfest 5 at Farrell’s Pub in Point Pleasant, Conga for Cancer on the Seaside boardwalk, and Root Stock at C B Huntington’s in Bayville.

We are looking forward to a successful event and placing pets into homes.
